Point the camera. See the look.

The live UV camera shows the filter before you take the shot. Or pick a photo from your gallery and start there.

A daily challenge and a filter of the day give you a reason to shoot something new.

Five styles

From black light to heat map.

UV, thermal, night vision, neon and Pro looks. Deep UV, X-Ray, Magma, Thermal Hunter, Digital Rain, Cyber and more — each one its own algorithm, not a colour tint.

Tap through the rows and the result updates instantly.

A phone camera cannot see UV light.
UV Cam makes it look as if it could.

An artistic effect — not a measurement.

Fine-tuning

Turn it up until it looks right.

Effect intensity, sensor noise, lens vignette, contrast and brightness each have their own slider, plus a negative base switch.

Save your settings as a preset and put the same look on the next photo. Undo and redo are always there.

Filter guide

Know what each filter does.

The built-in guide explains all 24 filters — what the look does and which subjects it suits.

Plus UV facts in the Discover tab, from bees to banknotes.

Quick questions.

Who is UV Cam for?
For anyone who wants a photo to look like a black-light party, a heat camera or a night-vision scope: portraits, plants, concerts, street shots at night. The filter guide tells you which look suits which subject.
What does UV Cam cost?
The app is free with ads. The optional Pro upgrade comes as a monthly plan, a yearly plan or a one-time purchase and removes ads and the watermark, unlocks every filter and adds 4K and 8K export. The price is shown in Google Play.
How does UV Cam make money?
Through ads in the free version and the optional Pro upgrade. Ads are served by Google AdMob, so the free version is not ad-free or tracking-free — Pro removes the ads.
Does the app show real ultraviolet light?
No. A phone camera sensor cannot see UV light, and UV Cam does not measure anything. The filters recreate the look with image algorithms. Treat the result as art, never as a UV reading or any kind of health information.
What can I do for free?
Take and edit photos with the basic filters, use all the sliders and save up to three photos a day with a small watermark. A short video unlocks a Pro category, an extra export or the watermark removal for a while; Pro removes the limits.
Do my photos leave the phone?
Filtering happens on your device, and the app uploads no photos on its own. The one exception is if you order a print from the editor: then that image is sent to the print service to be produced.
Which devices are supported?
Android phones. An iPhone version is in preparation. There is no web or desktop version, because the camera is part of the app.
Which languages does the app speak?
English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese.
